All TŪTUS horse floats and trailers are carefully engineered and manufactured to deliver outstanding safety, reliability, and performance. Each model is built using high-quality electrical and mechanical components to ensure premium standards across the range.
For your peace of mind, we provide a comprehensive warranty designed to protect your TŪTUS investment against manufacturing defects.
Warranty Coverage
Hoof Haven Trailers Ltd and Kang Sheng Trading Ltd, as authorised distributors of the TŪTUS brand, warrant that all new TŪTUS horse floats are covered from the date of purchase as follows:
5 Years – Chassis
Coverage for structural chassis components against defects in materials or workmanship.
6 Years – Floor
Protection against manufacturing defects affecting the trailer floor structure.
2 Years – Body Frame
Covers defects in the construction and assembly of the body frame.
1 Year – General Components
Covers the entire trailer’s general components under normal use.
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Customer Responsibilities
To maintain warranty coverage, customers are expected to follow standard operating and maintenance guidelines.
✔ Operate and maintain the trailer according to recommended guidelines
✔ Arrange professional servicing at least once every 12 months by a qualified technician
✔ Notify an authorised TŪTUS representative within 10 days of identifying any fault
✔ Provide clear and recent photographic evidence when reporting an issue
✔ Make the trailer available for inspection if required
Failure to carry out recommended servicing may affect warranty coverage where a fault is determined to be related to lack of maintenance.
Regular Servicing Requirements
Regular servicing helps ensure your trailer remains in safe working condition and reduces the risk of preventable issues.
Chassis Inspection
Regular checks of the structural chassis to ensure long‑term integrity.
Wheels & Bearings
Inspection of wheel condition, bearings, and rotation performance.
Braking System
Ensuring brakes, cables, and components operate safely and effectively.
Tyres & Tyre Pressure
Checking tyre wear, condition, and maintaining correct pressure levels.
Electrical & Safety Components
Inspection of lights, wiring, and essential safety systems.
General Exclusions
This warranty does not cover faults or damage resulting from:
Improper or insufficient maintenance
Misuse, overloading, or neglect
Accidents, collisions, or external impact
Installation of non-original or unauthorised parts
Normal wear and tear, including fading or corrosion
Modifications affecting structure or performance
Damage caused during transportation
Force majeure events (lightning, hail, floods, fire)
Making a Warranty Claim
Step 1: Contact Your Distributor
Provide proof of purchase and a description of the issue.
Step 2: Submit Supporting Documentation
Include clear photos or videos of the affected area.
Step 3: Inspection (If Required)
Your distributor may request an in‑person inspection to assess the claim.
Important Notice
This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act and any other applicable consumer protection laws.
